ContextSync, developed by a UofT student, tackles the "context amnesia" problem faced by AI development teams, where AI assistants forget previous architectural decisions. It allows syncing VS Code AI context by saving chat histories as structured Markdown files in decentralized synced folders like OneDrive or iCloud, or directly within Obsidian. This eliminates the need to repeatedly explain project details to individual Copilot/LLM sessions, improving team efficiency.
